What is Dark Spot Treatment?
Many people have hyperpigmentation, which is a common medical issue referring to darkened patches that develop on the skin. These brown splotches may show up in any location on the body, neck, or face and vary in shape and size. Areas of skin discoloration can also be caused by acne blotches or age spots from issues such as melasma, eczema, and psoriasis. Dr. Richard Ruff provides dark spot treatment in order to reduce the visibility of this condition and help refresh the overall complexion of our patients in Heath, OH. How Does Dark Spot Treatment Work?
During your initial consultation, you'll meet with Dr. Ruff in order to discuss which spots you'd like treated. At this point, he will create a custom treatment plan designed to meet your specific goals. Then, depending on this plan, our staff will utilize either a chemical peel or the Motus AY laser to treat the targeted areas of the skin. While some results may be visible after only one treatment, most patients will require multiple sessions to attain the best possible results.
