WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY FACIAL OR DERMAPLANING TREATMENT?
After a consultation to develop your unique treatment plan based on your skin's condition and concerns, you can lie back in a treatment chair as your procedure begins. Each facial treatment will be customized, but most treatments will start with a deep cleansing to clear away dirt, oil, and makeup. After the skin is clean, steam is often used to open clogged pores so whiteheads and blackheads can be extracted. For an oxygenating facial, a collagen masque and micro-current nutrient therapy will be massaged in. Then, following a traditional or oxygenating facial, a serum or mask will then be massaged into the skin for deep nourishment. Dermaplaning is performed to strip away dead skin cells and fine facial hair for a softer, more radiant complexion by using a careful scraping technique with a facial blade.
After your facial or dermaplaning treatment, you may have some irritation and redness — this should fade on its own within 24 hours. Most patients will see clear improvements in the look and touch of their complexion immediately after their treatment.
